Dan Schmidt, owner and “Error-in-Chief” of the historic Del Norte Triplicate newspaper, and contributor “Doc” Belardi speak with Doc and Jacques about the vital role of local print journalism and their revitalization of the publication. Schmidt recounts his extensive newspaper career, the paper’s community impact, and the operational roles required to run it. Having saved the Triplicate newspaper from closure, Schmidt and Belardi explain that they are now seeking dedicated successors to take over stewardship.
