  • Throughout May:
    • Beyond 250 Oral History Project: Chetco Public Library is seeking storytellers for a local oral history project.
    • Kids’ Scavenger Hunt: All through the month of May, kids are invited to pick up a scavenger hunt form at the Chetco Library to search for clues and earn a prize.
    • One Book, One Coast: The Chetco Community Public Library invites the community to read They Called Us Enemy by George Takei.
    • Meals On Wheels: Volunteers are needed to deliver hot meals to homebound seniors via the Chetco Activity Center.
    • American Red Cross Curry County Blood Drives: Blood donations are needed; call 1-800-RED CROSS or visit RedCrossBlood.org.
