    • Chetco Public Library Beyond 250 Oral History Project: Seeking storytellers all Spring 2026 for a local history project open to anyone who has ever called Brookings Harbor home.
    • Chetco Public Library Kids’ Scavenger Hunt: Available all month long in May; kids can pick up a form at the front desk, search for clues, and earn a prize.
    • Chetco Public Library One Book, One Coast: Shared reading initiative for They Called Us Enemy, with physical copies available starting March 23, and unlimited digital copies on the Libby and hoopla apps from April 1 through June 6.
    • Meals On Wheels Volunteers Needed!: Volunteers are needed daily to deliver hot meals to homebound seniors, taking about 1.5 hours per route; contact via the Chetco Activity Center.
    • American Red Cross Curry County Blood Drives: Constant need for blood donations; call 1-800-RED CROSS or visit redcrossblood.org to schedule an appointment.
