Time Out for Me is a free social day program for people living at home who have been diagnosed with Alzheimer’s or dementia. The goal of the program is to provide caregivers time to work, take care of their households, and have a break from their caregiver duties. Family caregivers enjoy time to themselves or to run errands knowing that their loved one is safe and cared for by a dedicated staff and volunteers.

Ardy and Scott discuss the importance of a day off for family caregivers and the activities offered during the Monday respite program.

The Time Out for Me program is funded by a grant from the Older Americans Act.
