Curry Coast Community Radio is pleased to present the first show in our new series, The Chetco Effect. The Chetco Effect is a series of tales set in Brookings and surrounding areas, whose characters and situations are affected in a supernatural way by the aforementioned effect. Some are tales of horror, some are cautionary tales, and some are about relationships that defy even death.

This episode of The Chetco Effect is called The Last Ride On Number 23. It comes to us from a time when Brookings was still young. When a railroad trestle crossed the river, bringing prosperity, wealth, and maybe, just maybe, a little magic.
