In this edition of Quality Living, host Amanda Whittemore talks with Redfish Music Festival founder and director Dr. Fritz Gearhart about this year’s festival, including ways to participate and support the festival and how music moves and grows communities.
The Redfish Music Festival (named after the Redfish Rocks Marine Reserve) is an annual week-long classical music festival based in Port Orford taking place during the first week of August. Concerts and open teaching events are held in various locations, including Port Orford, Bandon, Langlois, North Bend, Gold Beach and Crescent City.
