In this episode of Our Community, host Candice Michel chats with writer and community volunteer Pat Malone. First, join us as Pat discusses the rewards of community service and shares her unique history, which includes stories of growing up in San Francisco, fostering newborn babies, and surviving a forest fire that claimed three hundred homes, including her own.
In the second part of the program, Pat shares some exciting news: later this year, she will host a new KCIW program called Pat’s World. Pat’s World aims to cover two causes that are very dear to her heart – the Humane Society and CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) for Children.
