Today, the equivalent to “might white of you” is “do-gooder”. Some people do a lot of good for communities, and receive the “do-gooder” name. Some people just have to label things/people, so they can identify when they see it. Our schools are the worst when it comes to labeling. Of course, that statement can also be debated. All kinds of phrases can be offensive to others. On the other hand, the intent of the remarks can be studied as true or false.
