Another contentious Curry County Board of Commissioners meeting tool place on June 23, 2021. Commissioner Court Boice accused Treasurer Dave Barnes of conducting a political witch hunt. All of this because of a check for $3,276.00 written to Mr. Boice from County funds. Barnes believes Boice went behind the backs of the other commissioners to get money that doesn’t belong to him, and he sued Mr. Boice to get that money back. Listen to their exchange here.
