Community Organizer Scott Clapson sits down with Linda Schreiber to talk about her family’s choice to homeschool their children and how everything in life can be used as a learning experience.
Homeschool parents face unique challenges, and many areas – including the southern Oregon Coast – have homeschool networks to connect families. These support networks allow homeschool students and families to share ideas, curriculum, and even go on field trips together.
On October 10 members of OCEANetwork, a state-wide homeschool network, will come to Brookings for a homeschool conference at the Brookings Church of the Nazarene from 8:30 AM – 4:00 PM. The cost is $10 for the first member of the family and the rest of the family gets in free. Children are welcome with their families.
