In this first edition of our new series Give Me Shelter, Bobbie Atay, volunteer Store Manager for Curry County Habitat for Humanity’s ReSale Store, sits down with Scott Clapson to talk about her first couple months as Volunteer Store Manager and the amazing things happening at Curry County Habitat for Humanity.

Thanks to Bobbie and many new volunteers, Curry County Habitat for Humanity recently set a new sales record by taking in $800 in one day at their ReSale Store at 616 Memory Lane in Brookings.

Bobbie also talks with Scott about Curry County Habitat for Humanity’s newest fundraiser, a Community Garage Sale which will take place on Saturday, July 30, from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM. 10’x10′ spaces are available for $15. Call 541-412-7166 to register for a space. Proceeds from space rentals go to support Curry County Habitat for Humanity. Please, no smoking, no alcohol, and no pets.

Visit their ReSale Store at 616 Memory Lane in Brookings. Hours are Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
