Artificial Intelligence (AI) … what does that mean to the average person? Many people say that privacy is gone, that we a heading to a scoring system, similar to China’s system which rates its citizens in terms of behavior, both financially and socially. Is AI going to make us prisoners to a rigid, super governed lifestyle, or will we enjoy the leisure and safety that some futurists say we can look forward to? This “special edition” of Discussion at Brookings Café was recorded at the Chetco Community Public Library before a live audience.
