In this episode of Curry Café, hosts Ray Gary and Rick McNamer talk with Sue Wright and Dan Springen, organizers of the fourth annual Wild Rivers Film Festival in Brookings, running from August 13–16, 2026. They cover the festival’s origin and the diverse lineup of local, national, and international films presented at this year’s festival. The festival includes a free youth filmmaking workshop, giving students the opportunity to learn filmmaking basics from professionals in the field. The festival screens at the Redwood Theater, Chetco Pelican Players Playhouse, and the Chetco Community Public Library.

We encourage anyone with differing views to participate in future Curry Café discussions. If you would like to join the panel, email contact@kciw.org or call 541-661-4098.
