In this edition of Community Organizer, Scott Clapson talks with Linda Schreiber about ChariTree, an innovative local family friendly nonprofit fundraising collaboration.

ChariTree is a unique collaboration between local nonprofit organization, businesses, and the public to raise money and visibility for the many of the great local nonprofits serving our community. Last year was the first year after a hiatus and the first year it was organized entirely by community volunteers.
With the support of business sponsors, trees and wreaths are decorated by nonptofits and displayed for silent auction at the Chetco Grange on the first weekend of December. There’s music and entertainment, lots of great nonprofits to support, and abundant holiday community spirit!
