In this episode of Curry Café, hosts Ray Gary and Rick McNamer talk with Robert O’Sullivan, who shares the remarkable life and legacy of his late wife, Alice Wildermuth O’Sullivan. A prodigious musician from childhood, Alice’s talents spanned classical, jazz, and African American spirituals. Despite her musical success, Alice chose an unconventional path to law, becoming a top expert in workers’ compensation and earning recognition as a Northern California Super Lawyer. Beyond her careers in music and law, Alice was a dedicated advocate for social justice, an accomplished gardener, and a watercolor artist. Her life was marked by creativity, professionalism, and a commitment to community, as highlighted by memorable stories of her resilience, including a Carnegie Hall performance and her 51-year marriage to Robert.
