Ballots for the Coos-Curry Electric Coop Board of Directors election were mailed to all Coop members on May 19, 2023. There are two open positions on the 7-member board, and four candidates campaigning for them. KCIW offered each candidate two minutes to make their pitch to CCECC members/voters. Three took us up on our offer, and you can listen to what they have to say here.

Once again Lori Stoddard comes through giving the general audience of KCIW an insite into another important election. It gives people the chance to know who is running for the CCEC Board.
Coos Curry Electric Co-op (CCEC) does allow members by request to address the Board. The agenda and minutes of the meetings state who has requested and attended Board Meetings. Policy 300-030 is followed and states “all questions to the Board are responded to by the CEO or Board within two weeks”, and they are regardless what the opposition Director candidates state. Both first time candidates have not requested to attend any board meeting. Personally, As an incumbent Director I have responded to every call I have received regarding CCEC.
Respectfully,
Daryl Robison
