Intro and end music by Kat Liddell.
Is the United States a democracy? When the Founders used the term “We the People” in the Constitution, who were they referring to? Was the recent Supreme Court decision legalizing bump stocks correctly decided? These and other questions are discussed in this edition of Curry Café, where the panel takes on the topic of the U.S. Constitution.
Curry Café producer and host Ray Gary leads the discussion. Ray also produces and hosts two music shows on KCIW. We are fortunate to have two guests who are both well versed on the topic. Robert O’Sullivan has a background in public education and is a retired Lutheran minister. Kevin Hendrick is Chair of the Del Norte County Democrats and writes a weekly column for the Del Norte Triplicate newspaper in Crescent City. Rounding out the panel is Rick McNamer, a volunteer and board member at KCIW.
We encourage anyone with differing views to participate in future Curry Café discussions. If you’re interested in joining the panel, email contact@kciw.org or call 541-661-4098.
