KCIW is pleased to present the seventh episode in the Story Time series Nine O’Clock Horses, written and read by Angela Ewing.


“Oh no,” my mother said, ” Alice is dead, but I talk to her all the time.”

This episode continues the compelling story of growing up in England during and after the the Second World War. It’s based in part on Angela’s own family and her mother’s fight for sanity during the German bombing campaign and the threat of impending invasion.
