Summer Concerts in the Park

Bruce Ellis is back with another Insider Report, his weekly rundown of the latest upcoming activities and events in Brookings-Harbor, Curry County, and beyond.

Bruce had a wonderful Father’s Day, and, of course, he hopes you did too. He’s pumped over The Purple Daze’s premier performance at the 101 Bar and Grill Sunday night; the audience loved it and the owner invited them back! How about that? And they got paid! Our Boy’s doin’ good!

This weekend’s highlight is the season’s second American Music Festival Summer Concerts in the Park, featuring the Tom Petty tribute band Petty Fever. And there’s a lot more. Listen to Bruce’s program to hear it all!

A special message from Bruce’s producer Justin Only (a.k.a. John):

Ladies and Gentlemen, KCIW will be on the air before you know it. We’d like to hear from you! You can get a good samplin’ of what we’ll do on the air and you can listen at KCIW.org. Tell us what you like and what you don’t. Tell us about the music you’d like to hear on the “Little station that could” as Bruce would have it.

Justin Only (a.k.a. John)

Host: Bruce Ellis, Producer: Justin Only, Recording Tech: Justin Only, Sound Editor: Justin Only
