Summer Concerts in the Park

Bruce Ellis is back with another Insider Report, his weekly rundown of the latest upcoming activities and events in Brookings-Harbor, Curry County, and beyond.

Bruce kicks off the show with something about an ostrich, then launches into upcoming festivities. Justin Only (a.k.a. John) is out with the post-dental blues, and Bruce’s friend and fellow band member Jim Newman picks up the slack.

Of course, Bruce has all the latest on the local music scene, including news about his own band, Purple Daze, plus a rundown of fun and exciting events coming up in the weeks ahead, including the next performance of the American Music Festival Summer Concerts in Azalea Park; the second annual Vet Fest, sponsored by the Brookings chapter of Vietnam Veterans of America; a meteor shower party on the Chetco River at Loeb Park; the 6th Annual Pirates of the Pacific Festival … and much, much more.

So sit back and – as Bruce puts it – let your ears do the walking.
