In this edition of The Insider Report, hosts Bruce Ellis and Kat Temple share the latest news on the Brookings-Harbor entertainment scene. On January 12, the Pistol River Concert Association will present a performance by the New World String Project. This quartet mixes sounds from a variety of string instruments and promises to “wave a shimmering sonic tapestry from Celtic, Nordic, and American folk traditions.”

Other upcoming events include a Why Do It Yourself community conversation at the Chetco Community Public Library on January 9 and the Curry Public Library on January 10, the DNHS Poetry Out Loud Competition at Del Norte High School in Crescent City on January 11, a DNACA-hosted drum circle for veterans and their families in Crescent City on January 12 … and much, much more!

So sit back and – as Bruce puts it – let your ears do the walking.
