Bruce Ellis spent the weekend riding out the winter storms, and he’s ready to bring listeners the latest information about upcoming activities and events in Brookings-Harbor, Curry County, and beyond.
Bruce begins with his regular weekly update on the local music and entertainment scene. New on the scene is the Catalyst Seafood Restaurant in the Port of Brookings Harbor, which is now open for business and hosting a variety of musical performers.
Crab-lovers are invited to take part in multiple crab feeds this month. The Brookings Elks Lodge will host a feed on January 14. On January 21, the Brookings-Harbor Friends of Music are hosting a crab feed and silent auction at the Chetco Activity Center.
The Chetco Grange is now accepting table registrations from artisans for their annual Valentine’s Craft Fair. The Craft Fair takes place on February 4 – just in time to shop for your Valentine sweetheart.
Other upcoming January events include the Crescent City Soroptimists‘ Faces of Freedom Exhibit, a free music event with Russ Oelheim at the Chetco Community Public Library, a Dirty Cello concert in Pistol River … and much, much more!
So sit back and – as Bruce puts it – let your ears do the walking.
