In this edition of the Insider Report, Bruce Ellis shares the latest news on the Brookings-Harbor entertainment scene. January 12 is opening night for Lighthouse Repertory Theater’s rendition of Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf? This classic 1962 play by Edward Albee features performances by local actors Howard Patterson and Steven Scruggs. Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf runs for three weekends, with evening performances on Fridays and Saturdays.

Other upcoming events and activities include the Soroptimist International Benefit Dance at Crescent City’s VFW Hall on January 12, a low-cost spay and neuter clinic at the South Coast Humane Society in Brookings on January 13, a discussion on science and democracy at the Chetco Library in Brookings on January 24…and much, much more!

So sit back and – as Bruce puts it – let your ears do the walking.
