In this edition of The Insider Report, hosts Bruce Ellis and Kat Temple share the latest news on the Brookings-Harbor entertainment scene. The Brookings Harbor Friends of Music will host a concert by the St. Petersburg Piano Quartet on Sunday, February 9, at the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Brookings. This Grammy-nominated quartet has played in concert halls worldwide.

Kat and Bruce are joined by special guests David Kuehn of the Oregon South Coast Fishermen, with news about steelhead fishing in the Chetco River, and George Cady of the Brookings Harbor Friends of Music telling about the upcoming concert.

Other upcoming events include the opening night of the Chetco Pelican Players’ romantic comedy Almost, Maine, a series of loosely connected tales about love, with a touch of sorcery, in Brookings on Friday, February 7; a music workshop with the Kingston Trio Tribute Band at the Chetco Grange on Saturday, February 8; the final performances of the children’s musical The Fantastic Mr. Fox at Brookings Harbor Community Theater in Harbor on February 7-9 … and much, much more!

So sit back and – as Bruce puts it – let your ears do the walking.

Hosts: Bruce Ellis, Kat Temple; Guests: David Kuehn, George Cady; Producer: Rose Weiss; Recording Tech: Ray Gary
