Bruce Ellis is preparing for Super Bowl Sunday, and he’s ready to bring listeners the latest information about upcoming activities and events in Brookings-Harbor, Curry County, and beyond.
Bruce begins with his regular weekly update on the local music and entertainment scene. This month, football fans can look forward to a Superbowl party at River’s End Sports Bar, as well as performances by Jerry Moffit every Thursday night at the Vista Pub.
The Gold Beach Float Hunt continues through the month of February! This Valentine’s Day, keep an eye out for red float to win a couples’ prize package, which includes dinner for two at a local restaurant and tickets for a trip of Jerry’s Rogue Jets. On February 21, the public is invited to the annual Old Time Radio Show at Seaview Living, where local voice actors will read from vintage radio scripts. For local theatergoers, the Chetco Pelican Players presents Vinland Saga, by local playwright Val Cowan. Centering around intrigue, family dysfunction, culture clash, and Viking energy, Vinland Saga opens Friday, February 10, and runs for three weekends.
So sit back and – as Bruce puts it – let your ears do the walking.
