Bruce Ellis had a magical weekend watching the Aaron Radatz show at Elk Valley Casino, and he’s ready to bring listeners the latest information about upcoming activities and events in Brookings-Harbor, Curry County, and beyond.

Bruce begins with his regular weekly update on the local music and entertainment scene. The 101 Bar and Grill continues its monthly steak and comedy nights on Monday, February 20, and the Brookings Harbor Friends of Music will present a performance by the Jasper Quartet on February 26. Coming February 21, The Insider Players will present the Old Time Radio Show at Sea View Senior Living, where Bruce and his fellow voice actors will read from a variety of old-time radio scripts for the public’s listening pleasure.

On February 18 the Kidz Zone will host a Father-Daughter Masquerade Ball. Fathers and their daughters can enjoy picture packages, karaoke, frozen yogurt specials, and a special appearance by Princess Ariel! On March 4, Enoteca in Crescent City will host United for a Cause, a fundraiser to help a community member unite with a service dog. This event will feature live music by The Spence Brothers and Scott Perry, as well as food and raffles.

Other upcoming events include the continuation of Vinland Saga at the Chetco Playhouse and Fiddler on the Roof at the Dori Randall Performing Arts Center, a Mardi Gras party at Seaview Senior Living, a membership drive for the Ellensburg Theater in Gold Beach … and much, much more!

So sit back and – as Bruce puts it – let your ears do the walking.
