Amelia’s car was loaded onto the ship to take back to America. The voyage from Southampton, England to the States was to take five weeks, calling at Haiti, Panama, and Bermuda before arriving in L.A. Even after the insurance fixed it all, she never liked the car and she sold it soon after returning to Redondo Beach.
