The Wild Rivers Conservatory of Dance is preparing to present its annual rendition of The Nutcracker. This classic Christmas ballet runs December 9 and 10 at the Azalea Middle School in Brookings.

Nature’s Coastal Holiday, the annual community lightshow, will kick off at Azalea Park on Friday, November 24. Tickets are $2 for adults and free for children under twelve, and the lightshow runs nightly through December 31.

This weekend ghosts, ghouls, and circus clowns will be taking over the Fourteenth Annual Haunted House, hosted by the Chetco Pelican Players. The Haunted House will be open October 20 – 22 and October 27 – 31, and is located at the warehouse on the corner of Highway 101 South and Hoffeldt Lane in Harbor.

On a sad note, Bruce, along with Connie and Skip Hunter, announce the passing of a good friend and KCIW team member, John Weiss.
